What is the treatment like?
Depending on the area and number of areas being treated, administering your wrinkle relaxer can take as little as ten minutes. The pain is likened to a small mosquito bite—minimal and brief. How long do treatments last?
Treatments can last for up to four months, before the relaxant dissolves and the lines slowly return. However, having repeated, more frequent treatments with a smaller amount of relaxant has shown to gradually make the effects last longer. This can be due to two things:
- After several treatments, most clients report that as they have become so used to the muscle being relaxed, that they simply don’t use them out of habit anymore.
- When muscles aren’t being used over long periods of time, they tend to get smaller. Frequent treatments may cause this to happen, meaning stronger muscles that cause deep wrinkles may become less effective in doing so.
